Have you heard of the GE Monogram Experience? This past July 2014, I had the opportunity to be the guest of GE Monogram located in Louisville, Kentucky for a four-day intensive educational, hands-on and social extravaganza event. Approximately 15 Interior Designers and top appliance distributors from around the country were invited to learn about the BRAND of General Electric, GE Appliances and specifically Monogram.

GE Monogram treated us to a private tour of Churchill Downs Museum and Race Track before heading back to the classroom!
It was quite amazing being at Churchill Downs when it is empty in the grandstands. We were able to watch some horses training on the track up close and that was great fun.

The Churchill Downs Theater is shaped to simulate a race track and has a 360〫screen to view clips of past races and interviews with the jockeys and more. I highly recommend this if you are in the Louisville KY area.

A Hotel stay at the 21C Museum Hotel in Louisville would not be complete without hanging with those pesky Penguins, a BRAND identifier who were kind enough to pose with us.
I know, it looks like we were just about having fun at the GE Experience but we learned quite a bit, got to show off our culinary acumen and even though my team did not win the Iron Chef cook-off, we had a great time! Thank you Monogram!
