Time to Get Trim!

Trimming out your house can be far more lasting than trimming it for the holidays! With a multitude of beautiful and readily accessible trim options, your interior designer can transform your plain walls and doors into an enviable abode. Let me show you! As a sponsored blogger for Modenus, the Design directory, I visited the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show 2017 in Orlando in January and was introduced to a very special vendor.

Meet Metrie (mé-TREE),”where every room tells a story”.

MetrieTM is North America’s leading manufacturer and distributor of interior finishings. We create solutions that make it easier for consumers and building and design professionals to select, purchase and design with interior mouldings and doors.”

Metrie makes the design process for your home or office or any commercial space for that matter, simpler.  Collections are curated for your convenience and viewing, some in vignettes to get the overall feel that a particular trim profile can create in a space and what the result may be in your home.

Metrie™ Then & Now Finishing Collections™ include:

• Fashion Forward (hip, chic, contemporary, confident, balanced)

• French Curves (glamorous, decorative, fluid, ornate, elegant)

• Pretty Simple (charming, practical, warm, traditional, distinctive)

• True Craft (genuine, hand-crafted, natural, sensible, grounded)

• Very Square (crisp, modern, clean, linear, peaceful)

My personal favorite from the Metrie display area was this Wine Collectors Niche – all you need is 10″ in depth and you can display your favorite wines. Who wouldn’t want one of these?     photo credit: Metrie

Notice the detailed ceiling with the multiple layers of trim, don’t you want this in your space?

Another favorite of mine is the Arts and Crafts style that is so prevalent in the Midwest! photo credit: Metrie

Traditional is classic and can work in almost any decor.  I love how the moulding offers countless options to up-level your design! photo credit: Metrie

And if you want something a little less conventional….

Andd I will leave you with one more beautiful image that I snapped during my trip to KBIS2017 and Metrie… photo credit: Metrie

Not only is this a very HOT interior design element (the circular style) right now, pink is also hot and these doors can be worked into a bedroom dressing area or closet or special place for an accent. photo credit: Patti Johnson

Thanks for stopping by Chatti Patti Talks Design and oh!, by the way, I am now open at 33N Broadway, Lebanon, OH 45036 – providing full service interior design and renovation!
