That incredibly magical time of year that keeps us cheerfully filling our schedules with festivities, our trunks with gifts and our homes with love and laughter is swiftly approaching.   The holidays are indubitably a special time for welcoming friends and family merrily into our homes and the way we dress up our homes for the holidays tell a story, our story to our guests. From Holly and Ivy to Glamour and Glitz, choose a theme that suits your style  and enjoy the Christmas decor on display at historic Glendower Mansion in downtown Lebanon, Ohio!

Decorated in full holiday splendor, the Glendower Mansion will be open for touring for the Christmas holidays beginning  Saturday, December 1, 2012. Come visit after the Horse Parade!


Decorated with the four themes from the November 3 luncheon, Glendower is open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in December beginning with December 1, 2012  and ending December 30th, 2012. Hours are 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Admission is $8.00 adults, students under 18, $4.00.

  Rooms in the Mansion are decorated by Interior Designer Patti Johnson and Jo Wise, Proprietor of the Pink Hippo, and volunteers of the WCHS, Lebanon Ohio.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with Glendower Mansion, it is a historic Greek Revival style house located at 105 Cincinnati Avenue, U.S. Route 42, Cincinnati Avenue, in Lebanon, Ohio. Lebanon, voted The Best Hometown 2012 in Ohio Magazine  is the County Seat for Historic Warren County, Ohio.  You can read more about it here.   Built in the 1836 by Amos Bennett for John Milton Williams, a Lebanon merchant, the mansion was named for Owen Glendower.  Often referred to as “one of the finest examples of the Greek Revival architecture in the Middle West”; Glendower also boasts membership as one of many on the National Register of Historical Places in Warren County, Ohio.
