Illuminating Blogger Award!

A while back a wonderful ‘Designer Friend’ that I met in Chicago this spring (2012) at the KBIS show, aka Marilyn Russell, nominated Chatti Patti Talks Design for the illustrious “Illuminating Blogger Award!” ! This was a very nice complement as this award is intended for blogs that inspire and inform their readers.  Thank you Marilyn! I do try to create informative content for each post and Marilyn is among those who like to leave comments, something that more people should do. Blog content is created for the readers and the  bloggers can best give you what you want to read and learn about based on the feedback received. If you enjoy a blog post, give it a ‘like!’ Marilyn’s blog is also the recipient of the Illuminating Blog Award and you may visit her blog here: Design Magnifique.

The Illuminating Blogger Award is an award that anyone can bestow on their fellow bloggers for illuminating, informative blog content.”

Here are the simple rules once you’re accepted the award:

  1. Visit the award site and leave a comment indicating your nomination and by whom.
  2. Thank the person who nominated you by posting and linking their blog.
  3. Include a courtesy link back to the official award site.
  4. Share one random thing about yourself in your award blog post.
  5. Select at least five other bloggers of which you enjoy reading their illuminating, informative posts and nominate them for the award. Please feel free to nominate more than five if you wish.
  6. Notify your nominees by leaving a comment on their blog and include a link to the award site.

Something RANDOM about me: I love flowers more than shoes. Will spend my last dollar on a wilted perennial to save and revive it!

Here is my list of illuminating, inspiring bloggers:

A Detailed House

Storibook Designs

Iris Interiors

Backyard Gardening Blog

French Garden House

Check out these great blogs, you’re sure to find something you’ll love!

Until next time!  ~ Chatti Patti

  1. Congratulations Patti —so well-deserved. And thank you soooo much for the kind words and mention. I completely agree with you that people should take the time to comment more. It means so much more than people realize.
